My whole life I have been intrigued by everything natural and handmade around me. Ever since I was young, I’ve been fascinated with exploring my surroundings; always pushing forward to see what’s further ahead or just around the corner. When I wasn’t climbing trees or bringing critters home to mom, I was creating or playing sports.
In my pursuit for a degree, I was divided between fine arts and biology. Attending a liberal arts college allowed me to learn more about the vastness and complexity of our universe and I left with a multitude of interests and skills ranging from psychology to fashion design. So, I went out into the world to try my hand at all of them.
It has been a fun and captivating journey, but now I have finally found where I am meant to be…in conservation. Particularly, in wildlife and environmental film. My most recent project brought me to Equatorial Guinea where I lived in the jungle, on and off, for three years while working on a blue chip wildlife film.
When I’m not actively trying to save the Earth, I spend my time with friends, in nature, cycling or playing bike polo.
